I’m currently a Technical UI Designer living in Chicago.
Ever since college when peers were dreaming of becoming character artists or AI programmers, I set my sights on the real prize, Interface! Since then I’ve been a strong believer that interface is one of the most influential components of game development for affecting how the player perceives and understands the game.
No interface can be created by a single person and work correctly the first time. It takes time, iteration and feedback. As a result, I highly value communication and constructive criticism when working with my team. I always remain positive while working to make the best interface.\r\n\r\nI”m a strong believer in helping the next generation of developers learn and expand their skills. Whenever I can, I volunteer at my alma mater or for local game development groups to help cultivate future developers, and show them how exciting working in this industry is.
